Tanya: XXX. It is known (p. 585) ...for the initiated. (p. 587).
The Tzemach Tzedek was arrested twenty-two times during the Rabbinical conference in Petersburg, in 5603 (1843), for opposing the demands of the government regarding changes in education, etc. The minister in charge confronted him: "Is this not rebellion against the government?!"
The Tzemach Tzedek answered: "A rebel against the government is liable to be punished by death of the body; a rebel against the Kingdom of Heaven is punishable by death of the soul. Now which is worse?"
Just to keep you guys updated on what's going on: The new Chassidus shiur was an absolute success, with it's amazing kickoff monday morning!!! Boruch Hashem at 6:30am, there were nine Tayere year 8(and 3/4)'s going through the first perek of kuntres U'maayon!! It made a tremendous shturem, and you guys have no idea how many people came over to me, telling me how impressed they were from what was going on!! Remember guys, the whole Melbourne depends on us!! We are the pride of Melbourne!! But the main thing is that I'm sure the Rebbe was looking at us with the greatest love and pride. Anyway, we will recap everything we learned last time, so just because you didn't come on Monday, doesn't mean you can't come on Wednesday! Everyone is encouraged to join... I know it means gettin up a bit earlier, but that's what it's all about!!! Giving up something of your own... showing the Rebbe that we take what he wants more seriously than our own comfort. So keep up the good word, and continue to make the Rebbe proud!!!
The third Beis Hamikdash will first come down to the Beis Rabeinu Shebibovel, the house of the Rebbe, the leader of the Yidden at the time of Moshiach’s coming.
From there it will go, together with the Beis Rabeinu Shebibovel to its final destination in Yerushalayim, on Har Habayis (the mountain of the Beis Hamikdash).
The reason for this is, because the Shechina (Hashem’s Holy presence) in the time of Galus (exile) is at the place of the leader of the Yidden in every generation, therefore the Beis Hamikdash which is the place where Hashem’s Shechina is revealed will first come to that place, and only then to Yerushalayim.
